Who are the top vendors serving the nation's legal industry? The National Law Journal is again conducting a national online poll to identify the top performers in a variety of legal categories. This is a wide-ranging survey focused on everything from litigation consulting to e-discovery vendors to PR consultants to law schools.

Voting is open through February 10, 2013. While voters do not need to cast their opinion in every category, the NLJ encourages its readers to vote in as many categories as possible. Finalists in each category will be determined solely by the popular vote.

The National Law Journal was founded in 1978 and is owned by legal publishing giant ALM, which publishes 33 national and regional magazines and newspapers. Last year was the inaugural year for the Best of the National Law Journal List, and about 5,000 readers voted.

In 2012, A2L Consulting was very honored to be voted Best Demonstrative Evidence Firm in this survey by the readers of the National Law Journal.

This year, A2L Consulting is nominated in four categories:

  • Best Demonstrative Evidence Firm
  • Best End to End Litigation Consulting Firm
  • Best Jury Consultants
  • Best Intellectual Property Litigation Consulting Services

I would deeply appreciate it if you voted for us in all four categories, to be sure. However, I think the most important thing is simply to participate. You do not need to fill in categories that you don't have a strong opinion in.

A popular survey contest such as this one has advantages over a top-down ranking or listing that is compiled by editors or by attorneys. Quite often, an organization or a person has developed a great reputation with clients and others in the industry but has remained far from the media’s attention. A poll of this sort is an excellent way of bringing new talent to the fore and of overcoming conventional wisdom.
