Trial Presentation Consultants: Trial Presentation Graphics, Trial Presentation Electronics or Trial Presentation Hot-Seat Courtroom Operators

trial presentation consultants

We believe that an effective trial presentation can change the outcome of a case.  For A2L Consulting's trial presentation consultants, their job is laser focused on building trust and understanding with the fact finder(s) through a well-designed trial presentation.  We call this "making belief," and that is the business we are in.

Trial presentation is a broad term that has several meanings in our business.  As, trial presentation consulting is still an industry that is barely 30 years old, the term has yet to develop a firm meaning.  Specifically:

  • Trial Presentation can refer to the entirety of the presentation, both oral and visual, made by the litigation team; or
  • Trial Presentation can refer to only the visual presentation -- primarily demonstrative evidence -- that is created by trial presentation consultants to support opening, closing and the case in chief; or
  • Trial Presentation can also refer to the electronic presentation of evidence using equipment being run by trial technicans (themelves, trial presentation consultants); or
  • A Trial Presentation can be any combination of the above.
Since 1995, our firm has helped pioneer and shape the trial presentation industry.  Founded in 1995 as Animators at Law, we have continued to provide thought leadership year after year.  In 2011, we launched The Litigation Consulting Report - a publication centrally focused on providing information and techniques related to making a trial presentation.  It is read by thousands in the legal industry each month.

Quick, tell me what this patent claim language means: Unless you’re a patent geek like me , you probably haven’t the foggiest idea how to interpret this language.  But if you are an attorney in a patent infringement litigation, your job is not only to explain to a judge and jury what claim language means, but do so in a convincing and persuasive manner. If the fact...Read More

There is an old expression that a camel is a horse designed by committee. The expression means that when many individuals design something as a group, every imaginable feature will go into the finished product – and it will end up with many important features. But the product will have lost its beauty – and sometimes will have lost some of its usefulness as a complete entity. ...Read More

In our work as trial graphics specialists , many cases require us to prepare a demonstrative exhibit that simplifies a complex process. This could be a scientific or technical matter such as how environmental remediation is conducted, how surgical mesh is used, or how data backups are migrated, or it could be a business or governmental matter such as how a form of bond obligation is created...Read More

Whenever a litigation team presents a document in a graphic way to the jury or other fact-finder at trial, there is an occasion for a document call-out. A “document call-out” is a term of art that means taking a document that is in evidence at trial and highlighting some key portion of it for easy reading and to draw the viewer's attention to the key language. There are three...Read More
